Why organisations should consider ITIL Version 5
- Adopt one end-to-end lifecycle: Use a single lifecycle for digital products and services that connects strategy to delivery, supporting faster value creation and clearer results.
- Modernise ITIL v3 without losing what works: If you are still utilising ITIL v3, you can evolve the proven v3 processes into one digital lifecycle that links operational reliability with transformation and growth.
- Turn ITIL 4 Foundation into an operating model: Build from ITIL 4 Foundation to an operations model that connects strategy, delivery, and experience to measurable business outcomes.
- Connect business goals to customer outcomes: Apply a proven lifecycle that aligns organisational objectives with the outcomes customers actually experience.
Why professionals should certify in ITIL Version 5
- If you’re new to ITIL: Start where your role lives. ITIL (Version 5) offers clear, role-based pathways to build modern digital and service capabilities that help you stand out with courses for service, product, experience, strategy and transformation.
- If you’re ITIL v3 certified: Bring your v3 strengths into the digital era with an evolved lifecycle that integrates product, service, and experience management.
- If you’re ITIL 4 certified: Turn what you already know into visible results through practical, role-based pathways that show exactly how to adopt and adapt ITIL in modern, AI-enabled work.
